Clear, plain-language rules for families and grannies using MTÜ My Granny.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Safety comes first. If anything feels unclear or unsafe, contact our coordinators before or during a booking. We are here to help.
1. About the service
MTÜ My Granny (registry code 80612345, Tartu mnt 25, Tallinn) operates a platform that introduces families to verified grannies offering childcare, company and everyday help.
My Granny acts as an intermediary and coordinator. The care itself is provided directly by the granny to the family.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
Grannies must complete identity verification, provide two references and pass a personal interview before receiving bookings.
We may suspend an account that provides false information or breaches these terms.
3. Bookings and cancellations
A booking becomes binding once both the family and the granny confirm the date, time and place.
The first introduction meeting is free of charge.
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed start time. Later cancellations may be charged at 50% of the visit fee.
4. Prices and payments
Hourly rates start from 8 EUR and are shown before you confirm a booking. A small coordination fee supports verification, insurance and support work.
Invoices are issued monthly and are payable within 7 days. All prices include applicable taxes.
5. Safety and responsibilities
Families are responsible for describing the child's needs, allergies, routines and any medical information before the first visit.
Grannies are responsible for attentive, respectful care and for informing the family immediately about any incident.
Neither party may pass responsibility for a booked visit to a third person without written agreement.
6. Privacy
We process personal data only to match families and grannies, coordinate bookings and meet legal obligations, in line with the GDPR.
Data is never sold. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to mygranny.info@gmail.com.
7. Liability
My Granny carries liability insurance covering coordinated visits, subject to the insurer's conditions.
My Granny is not liable for indirect damages or for agreements made privately between a family and a granny outside the platform.
8. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
These terms are governed by Estonian law. Disputes are resolved first through negotiation, and otherwise by Harju County Court.
